Weddings
We now have 6 pages within this weddings section, and an extremely useful page on Color, plus a 'not to be missed' page on Silk Flowers. *Plus Ireland.
Links to all these pages can be found at the very bottom of this page. The 'Color' page adds a few extra pertinent design questions... so that the right answers are at your fingertips before it is too late to change your mind. Also a useful 'yellow weddings' link. Please don't miss it! The first page in this section on marriages is entitled... 'Weddings' - (CONTENTS below) it being the general and introductory page... (this page in fact!) The next page in the section is called 'Wedding Favors', the title is self explanatory really... (referred to as Favours or Bomboniere in the UK). 'Cake Toppers' is our NEWEST page. The selection is unbeatable! 'Bridal Accessories' an unmissable article by an expert, plus links to all the best accessories. Quality all the way. Lastly, to complete the section, a page, containing, hopefully, everything which isn't on any of the other pages! This final page is called 'Wedding Flowers'. A new page specifically for 'Wedding Links' completes this section. *Another page has just been added to our website about Ireland... link below... which includes vital Irish wedding info which should prove useful.

Contents
This page itself covers Options and Choices... regarding what type of celebration, and where to hold it.Concerns. Organization and Planning plus Cost. And Memories... Photos. It is set out in the four sections as above, but YOU may want to look at 'Cost', or 'Memories' first, for example. Just scroll down!
I hope this section will be a source of assistance to crystallize your thoughts, and thus form the best wedding plan for YOU and your PARTNER.
OPTIONS, AND CHOICES The first basic choices are whether to have a religious or civil ceremony... always assuming a religious ceremony is open to you, and assuming that both bride and groom are of the same religion. Next, whether religious or civil weddings, the question is Where? The above question will affect the 'When' part of the equation, as some facilities have to be booked well in advance, and, if a religious ceremony is being planned and is outside the domain of the bride and/or groom it is, in some cases, required that special permissions have to be obtained. There are many far-away romantic places which are now open to brides and grooms as wedding packages... if this is YOUR dream, do NOT be put off by friends and relatives. You could have a reception for all your friends and relatives after your dream wedding and honeymoon combined... it could, if required, incorporate a blessing at your local church, a wedding cake, a second wearing of the wedding dress... in fact anything which you desire. Do NOT be persuaded to have a large 'DO' if this isn't your joint preferred choice. Always remember 'THEY' say your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of YOUR life. It should, therefore, follow that the whole day should be arranged for your pleasure... and not be a source of stresses and strains! [Personally I think the happiest day theory is rather depressing at best... it seems to suggest that everything goes downhill after THE day... and it also puts far too much pressure on everyone concerned. A lovely happy day, on which you state your commitment to each other, is to be aimed for... AND IN A WAY WHICH IS RIGHT FOR THE TWO OF YOU.] Be sure that you are both entirely happy with these initial decisions, discuss it very, very fully... before they are presented to anyone else who is to be involved! Links to the UK's No.1 site for Weddings and Special Occasions follow: - Confetti... what an appropriate name! Search for wedding dresses, veils, tiaras, lingerie and shoes... menswear and more, you'll find it all at Confetti fashion. As well as the fantastic fashion mentioned above, amongst the long list of searches you can satisfy here are... Venues (very special) for Weddings and Christmas Parties, Catalogues, Samples of Stationery, Exotic Locations, etcetera. There are stores located in London and Leeds. Goods can only be shipped to the UK, sorry. Confetti... well worth an extended visit. Sorry, I forgot to mention that Romantic Breaks are also featured. * * * Another website which could be of interest and assistance is My Spiritual Wedding why not check it out NOW! CONCERNS
There will be a number of concerns, and they will all be peculiar to each individual circumstance. Family, friends, relations... and two sets of them, to make matters even more complicated. If you are blessed with ones who all get on with each other and with you... then I should think you are a one-in-a-million, and extremely lucky. So besides keeping apart those who do not get on, or not inviting some, keeping numbers down... having close family or friends only, or separate do's (morning or evening) for each set... or simply getting away from it all, what can be done? Costs will be a major factor in all these arrangements... and will be discussed in the next section. Don't worry, it's your day... let them fight, or not as the case may be... after all the seating plan can be arranged as befits YOUR desires... protocols can be ignored, or restructured in accordance with necessity! Things will probably go much better than you expect. Everyone enjoys a celebration. And, if they don't, perhaps they won't accept the invitation! Choosing a date which suits the major players in the ceremony is another worry. As are health and travel arrangements for elderly relatives who you particularly want to share your day. Wedding nerves, as expressed in these types of pre-wedding worries and jitters, are to be expected. Most other concerns will probably be under the heading of organization, planning and very importantly costs. Why not check out the following link... What are most brides afraid of? Not having the perfect wedding! Our collection of wedding ideas, vows, poems, and favors will ensure that you will have the wedding of your dreams.

ORGANIZATION, PLANNING & COSTS
This is THE most complicated section! There is SUCH an enormous amount to be arranged.
Costing is perhaps best sorted FIRST. Once you have a budget to work to you can begin to get things sorted.
Unless you have experience in arranging functions, I think your best course of action... unless you are a total glutton for punishment, is to obtain some kind of planning assistance.
Most professional planners will offer different levels of assistance... with a full planning service costing approximately 10% of the total budget. They will probably also offer a partial advice service, maybe they will do a supplier or venue search... they are well versed in this type of search as they often cater for other events as well as weddings.
If all that is too expensive, formal or complicated for you. I HAVE FOUND THE IDEAL SOLUTION!

MEMORIES (photos)
The precious memories of the Big Day will be reinforced by your photographs. It is therefore important that they are a most vital part of your pre-wedding arrangements.
One thing to consider is where they will be taken (our Color page could help here)... background, decorations, etcetera, need considering. And a brilliantly helpful website is just a click away... help from a real photographer can be found at...

please don't miss it!
One last series of questions to answer... what will you and your guests remember most when the Big Day is just a long-ago memory? How will your photos look, and remind you of that day?
Will you [and they] remember your dress, the decorations, the cake... and how beautiful they all looked? Or will it be the food they ate and the expensive wine they drank?
Which will contribute most to the photographs and the memories... I know which I think. Your answer will address where savings should be made in your budget... if they are required!
